Product details
Baron de Brane Margaux 2014 is the second wine of Château Brane-Cantenac, a prestigious second growth estate in Margaux, owned by Henri Lurton. Made from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, the grapes are sourced from vineyards on deep gravel beds. This wine boasts a superb, expressive nose with aromas of ripe fruit, mocha, and espresso.
On the palate, it is medium-dense with fine tannins and a clean, tobacco-tinged, slightly spicy finish, showcasing its elegance. Best when decanted for 1.5 to 2 hours before serving, Baron de Brane has an ageing potential of 12 to 15 years. It pairs beautifully with dishes like partridge fillet Rossini with truffles.
