Product details
Bruno Colin’s Bourgogne Pinot Noir follows its sibling Chardonnay as a very drinkable introduction to the wines of Burgundy, the Côte de Beaune in particular. From 30 to 50 year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils, it is aged in oak barrels (25% new). It’s a great value, red Burgundy from a top producer.
Bursting with juicy red fruit on the nose leading to round, elegant cherry and blackcurrant flavours on the palate underlined by silky smooth tannins. Best enjoyed young. Enjoy with a mushroom risotto or Chris Lee’s duck breast recipe.
