Product details
Deep ruby-red color is virtually opaque. The aromas are traditional, combining black-fruit ripeness with dusty notes. Dark fruit on the palate is leathery, savory and has notes of tobacco leaf. The fruit is supported by an excellent structure comprising fine tannins. Alcohol is well in balance. Good acidity on the finish ensures the tannins last well on the finish. The wine is well-balanced but in a very old-fashioned style which is typical of Calon-Segur.
