Product details
Tequila Fuenteseca 18 Year Old is an exceptional spirit that stands out for its unique aging journey and meticulous craftsmanship. Initially aged for six years at a 4,600-foot elevation in Canadian white oak, the tequila is then re-barreled and moved to a cooler, breezier climate for an additional twelve years. The distinct barrel combination, with 50% aged in Canadian white oak rye whiskey casks and 50% in European dark oak California red wine casks, imparts a remarkable depth and complexity to the tequila, offering hints of butter, a bold aroma, and a remarkably smooth finish.
Crafted with a blend of 75% copper double-column still and 25% copper alembic still, Tequila Fuenteseca’s unique production process results in a spirit of unparalleled quality. The extended aging and careful re-barreling create a tequila with a rich, layered profile that beautifully marries the influence of both whiskey and wine casks. The result is a sophisticated tequila with a silky mouthfeel and a harmonious balance of flavors, making it a true connoisseur’s delight.
