Product details
Fresh and fruity, yet balanced and intense, Mumm’s Le Rosé Champagne reflects the unique house style of G.H. Mumm. The wine’s exquisite pink color is obtained by adding a small amount of still Pinot Noir from the renowned vineyards of the Grand Cru village of Bouzy to the blend. The end result is a cuvée that combines the finesse, balance, and aromatic richness of the Mumm Cordon Rouge base with the energetic fruitiness of Pinot Noir.
In the glass, G.H. Mumm Le Rosé Champagne Brut displays a pale salmon color with a persistent ribbon of delicate bubbles. The bouquet is dominated by fresh summer fruits such as strawberry and cherry with undertones of caramel and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is lively and perfectly dry in the attack, with an abundance of ripe red fruit flavors framed by mouthwatering acidity. This wine works well on its own as an aperitif, but also pairs beautifully with grilled steelhead trout, roast chicken, and paella.
