Product details
Giuseppe Quintarelli Veneto Rosso Ca' del Merlo 2017 is a remarkable Veneto IGT wine that masterfully blends local and international grape varieties. Built upon a foundation of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, this unique blend is further enhanced by 15% of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Nebbiolo, Croatina, and Sangiovese. Crafted using the traditional Ripasso method, it undergoes a second fermentation with Amarone skins, adding depth, color, and complexity to the wine’s structure.
Aged for seven years in large Slavonian oak barrels, this wine offers a sophisticated bouquet of ripe red berries, wild strawberries, and subtle spices. The palate reveals robust, velvety textures balanced with fine mineral acidity, culminating in a dynamic yet polished mouthfeel. Delicate floral hints of violet and a smoky, lingering finish add further elegance. Quintarelli’s "Rosso Ca' del Merlo" pairs beautifully with refined red meat and game dishes, embodying both tradition and innovation in every sip.
