GuoJiao 1573 Classic originates from a Cultural Relic of National Importance—the earliest construction in China (founded in 1573), the longest continuous use, and the most protected of the Cellars of National Treasure 1573. Handcrafted with the traditional brewing technique of Luzhou Laojiao, it has been selected as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage. All distillates of Guojiao 1573·Classic must have aged for 5 years to decades in a natural cave. It is crisp, mellow, smooth, and lingering, with unique and typical aromas of the cellars.
国窖1573酒源自全国重点文物保护单位——始建于公元1573年、连续使用至今、原址原貌保护完整的1573国宝窖池群，采用入选中国“首批国家级非物质文化遗产代表作”的泸州老窖酒传统酿制技艺纯手工酿造。由在天然藏酒洞中洞藏五年和几十年的高年份酒调配而成。酒质无色透明、窖香幽雅、绵甜爽净、柔和协调、尾净香长，风格典型。

Guojiao 1573 originates from the 1573 national treasure cellar group used by Luzhou Laojiao since the Ming Dynasty (1573 AD), making it a unique liquor brewed from living historical artifacts in China. The water used in the brewing of Guojiao 1573 is sourced from the Longquan well at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain. It is crystal clear, slightly sweet, weakly acidic, and has suitable hardness, making it an excellent brewing water. Guojiao 1573 selects pure natural organic grains—glutinous red sorghum only produced in southern Sichuan's Luzhou—as the brewing grains. This type of glutinous red sorghum is particularly conducive to gelatinization and fermentation, ensuring the rich and mellow taste of Guojiao 1573.
