Inspired by traditional Scottish whisky, Torii envisioned a Japanese approach by choosing a terrain and climate completely different to those of Scotland to create a unique style of whiskey. Located on the periphery of Kyoto, this region is where one of the purest waters of Japan originates. The diversity of this region's temperature has created perfect conditions for cask aging, which is known as the "Suntory Maturation". Hibiki is the distillery's blended collection, offering a harmonious blend of malt and grain whiskies which are painstakingly blended to create the most beautiful of flavors and aromas. The 21 Year Old is a beautiful and graceful blend, with hints of rich fruit, honeycomb and light Japanese oak.
