A Trail of Smoke’ forms part of House of Hazelwood’s Autumn 2022 Collection. The release is a 42-year-old blended malt, and limited to only 385 bottles.
Nose: "Surprisingly light on the nose, with subtle citrus aromas and a fresh hint of sea salt."
Palate: "The peat only becomes noticeable on the palate, through distinctive maritime notes and a gentle layer of smoke."
Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.
