Product details
Ichiro's Single Malt is a limited edition whisky produced by Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, Japan. It is made from 100% malted Concerto two row barley, milled and mashed in-house and fermented in Mizunara washbacks for 90-100 hours. The whisky is then distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills and aged in a combination of a sherry hogshead and ex-IPA, imperial stout, and hopped cider casks. The 2022 Edition of the US bottling of Ichiro's Single Malt is a blend of nine casks with a focus on barrels that previously held India pale ale, imperial stout, and hopped cider, lending subtle notes of tropical fruit and citrus. Bottled at cask strength without additives or coloring, this non-chill filtered whisky has an ABV of 53.5% and is limited to 2233 bottles. If you're a fan of Japanese whisky, be sure to try Ichiro's Single Malt.
