Product details
The wines of J. Lassalle are among the earliest and longest-standing "grower Champagnes" in the United States, deeply rooted in the terroir of Chigny-les-Roses in the Montagne de Reims. Managed by three generations of Lassalle women, the estate's tradition of “une femme, un esprit, un style” (one woman, one spirit, one style) is evident in their winemaking approach, which includes the use of malolactic fermentation and meticulous blending of different climats and cépages. This results in lush, creamy, and sublimely refined Champagnes that reflect both the terroir and the vigneronnes' touch.
The Lassalle women produce a pale, elegant rosé Champagne characterized by its delicacy and plush fruit. Extensively aged sur latte before disgorgement, this rosé maintains a perfect balance of richness and refreshing acidity, making it suitable as both an apéritif and a complement to meals. Despite its mid-weight structure, the rosé offers significant intensity and persistence, with attractive aromatic notes of rose petal, cranberry, mint, citrus, and white pepper, showcasing a Champagne of real substance and textural depth.
