A blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot that reflects the grandeur of this famous vintage. The inviting constellation of aromas reminds us of St. Émillion—licorice, blueberry, leather, graphite, and chocolate. The intensely layered array of flavors is supported by a rich foundation of fine and vibrant tannins.
The Kings Farm label was introduced in 2010 to present to our clients the "little sisters" of the Kongsgaard wines. Kings Farm is the translation of Kongsgaard from the Norwegian. The family name is tied to our ancestral farm in southern Norway. The image on the label of a medieval Norwegian king was painted in 1225 AD in the Torpo stave church in Hallingdal.
