Product details
AN is brewed with Omachi rice, the oldest heirloom sake rice variety and ancestor to the renowned Yamada Nishiki rice. Some brewers compare Omachi to Pinot Noir, difficult to cultivate but offers the potential for an elegant and age-worthy finished product. AN takes one of the characters from the owner’s last name Mr. Ihoriya, the 14th generation owner guiding the brewery now in its 300+ years. Label design pays homage to the local high-end denim industry that is world-famous for raw denim.
An inviting copper-tinged complexion with hints of platinum. An orchestra led by mandarin and peach blossoms with a kiss of yellow apples, marzipan, and ocean spray. Mineral-driven complexity and layers of fresh-cut green apple, nectarine, and hazelnuts dance around a mouthwatering acidity that cleanses the palate and makes the sake ideal for any occasion.
