Product details
Kunizakari Nigori Sake is a plush, velvety nigori sake that was once exclusively available to visitors of the Kunizakari Brewery. Crafted by Nakano Sake Brewery, established in 1844 in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, this sake reflects a rich heritage of traditional brewing techniques. Handa City, situated on the Chita Peninsula, benefits from a warm climate and abundant natural water sources, creating an ideal environment for sake production. The brewery honors its history by operating the Kunizakari Sake Culture Museum, allowing visitors to explore the evolution of sake brewing in the region.
This nigori sake offers a calming and rustic flavor profile, with a deep and rich taste that is not overly sweet. Its unique texture is balanced by a refreshing brightness, making it highly enjoyable when served chilled or over ice. Kunizakari Nigori Sake pairs exceptionally well with richer dishes such as tuna sashimi, pork tonkatsu with miso sauce, katsuo no tataki, and anago tempura.
