Product details
Following on from the 1995 and 1996 vintages, Louis Roederer is now releasing Cristal Vinothèque 1999 which, just like its elders, offers exceptional freshness and the promise of eternal youth.
Cristal Vinothèque is the result of 20 years of bespoke ageing in three successive stages. Cellar Master Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon devised these different stages of ageing to create a constant dialogue between structure and time. He orchestrates their interaction with such mastery that their unremitting alteration becomes tempered and eventually reinvented.
This bespoke ageing process involves a late disgorgement which endows Cristal Vinothèque with its original identity and adds to the rarity of this exceptional cuvée. It offers the characteristic Cristal aromas combined with iodised, saline notes and remarkable freshness. Not quite the same, but not different either.
