Product details
In collaboration with ONORA, Maestro Dobel Tequila launched the first of three limited-edition Dobel 50 bottle series. ONORA has engaged third-generation artisan Pablo Pérez Martínez, from the village of Xalitla, Mexico, to artfully reimagine the bottle stopper of the extra añejo cristalino tequila.
The Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino undergoes a unique aging process that sets it apart from other tequilas. Aged for a minimum of three years in American and Eastern European oak barrels, the tequila develops a rich and complex flavor profile. The blend of barrels imparts a harmonious balance of vanilla, caramel, and oak, while the extended aging period allows the spirit to mature and mellow, resulting in an unparalleled smoothness.
On the nose, Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino Onora Limited Edition Series Extra Anejo Tequila offers an enticing bouquet of roasted agave, dried fruits, and toasted oak, with hints of vanilla and dark chocolate. The aroma is rich and inviting, promising a sensory journey that is both familiar and unique.
The palate is a luxurious symphony of flavors, beginning with a velvety smooth entry that reveals layers of caramel, butterscotch, and dark chocolate. Subtle notes of dried fruit, nutmeg, and cinnamon add complexity, while the roasted agave provides a robust backbone. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering hints of oak and spice, leaving a warm and memorable impression.
With less than 200 bottles of it produced the exclusive bottle makes for a coveted item for any serious tequila lover.
