The 38 year old Royal Salute Stone of Destiny Blend from Chivas Regal was named after the ancient block of red sandstone used for British Royal coronation ceremonies. Royal Salute "The Stone of Destiny" is made up of whiskies no less than 38 years old. It's a remarkable whisky indeed. As Chivas themselves state: "When you pour yourself a glass of Royal Salute, the first thing you will notice is its rich golden color. Investigate a little more closely and you will sense a balance of fruity, floral and smoky fragrances.
