Product details
Founded in 1871 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Sakai Shuzo Brewery is nestled along the scenic Nishiki River in Iwakuni City. The name "Gokyo" is inspired by the iconic Kintai Bridge, a stunning historical wooden structure known for its five elegant arches. Gokyo Ginjo Saito no Shizuku is a testament to the brewery’s tradition and craftsmanship.
This Junmai Ginjo sake offers a clean aroma of citrus fruits like orange and grapefruit, with a light and refreshing acidity complemented by mild sweetness and a soft texture. Its balanced savory flavors expand on the palate, finishing with a smooth tartness. Perfect for pairing with scallop sashimi, sushi, grilled seafood, or more complex dishes like seafood gratin, steamed dumplings, and simmered daikon garnished with miso.
