This sake - a part of Senkin's "Modern" sake series that utilizes modern brewing methods - is a combination of Japan's historic first sake rice (Omachi) and Senkin Brewery's cutting-edge technique and technology.
The word “gold” in the name is in there for good reason. This brew won gold in the daiginjo class at The Fine Sake Awards Japan 2019 and gold in the Yamadanishiki class at Kuramaster 2020.
This junmai daiginjo sake has the honor of being the first sake to be produced using Daishichi’s super-flat rice polishing technique, as well as earning the highest praise at the Vinexpo.
This Genshu - i.e. an undiluted Shochu - has a mellow and sweet taste despite it's high alcohol content. Contains all natural ingredients and no additives.

This is the special limited Junmai Daiginjo sake with a deep aroma that carries undertone of fruits like peach, mango, pear, and banana. An elegant and mellow taste continues on to its long finish.
Gentle aroma of banana, pear, pineapple and apple compote with petite yellow flower. Very soft entrance, quiet acidity, juicy fruits expand in mid-palate, rounded mouthfeel, lifted silky finish. Elegance and craftsmanship show in this sake.
As they utilize the traditional Yamahai brewing method, this Kubota Hekiju is granted extra deep flavors, yet it still carries a light and clean mouth feel and swallows easily. Best enjoyed at body temperature or chilled.
