A delicate, silky, unfiltered nigori sake. Off-dry with a touch of sweetness but balanced at 12.5% ABV. The aroma is lily flowers and cantaloupes, with a smooth and creamy texture, with flavors of Muscat grape and strawberries with a lingering finish.
Fukushima’s first prefectural yeast, Utsukushima Yume Yeast, known to produce sake with less acidity, and aromas of banana and melon. The interplay of fruity on the nose and dry on the palate is achieved by careful handling and skillful expertise.
A real gem, this nigori style of sake is relatively mild and light, which is not a characteristic found in most nigori. Full of floral and rice aromas, it ends with a sharp, dry finish.
Lightly cloudy with aromas of floral notes such as cherry blossom, jasmine, and honeysuckle are followed by white peach and papaya. Clean and smooth flavor with a touch of mineral nuance.
