Hananomai Katana Extra Dry Junmai Ginjo Sake 720ml
Named for the famed samurai broadsword, ‘Katana’ Junmai Ginjo is similarly sharp, dry, and bold. Full-bodied with notes of melon and almond, with almost no perceptible sweetness. An excellent pairing for richer cuisine like yakitori.
Brewed using the difficult kimoto technique, which takes longer, but adds rich complexity to the naturally clean, dry taste. Jitsuraku’s medium body is permeated with an excellent earthy quality and goes down smooth.
Intensely pungent and fruity on the nose with tropical aromas like guava, kiwi, and mango.
Sweetly opulent in the mouth with rich layers of perfume that alternate between floral and
tropical. It finished crisp and dry with excellent balance.
Lightly cloudy with aromas of floral notes such as cherry blossom, jasmine, and honeysuckle are followed by white peach and papaya. Clean and smooth flavor with a touch of mineral nuance.
This Sake is very clean in taste, with the rice suggesting a subtle sweetness in the mouth. A very light and smooth sake to enjoy with sushi, sashimi and other fine dishes.
Uka sake begins with the family-farmed, meticulously cultivated rice and becomes a uniquely fragrant, full-bodied but delicate sake—a true delight for the palate.
Its nose is an aromatic concoction of melon, grape, and sweet rice. Each sip is balanced with a rounded-out dry finish. The meticulous care used during brewing is reflected in the light complexity of the brew.
Made with 100% Japanese yuzu and has no artificial flavor or color. A complex bitterness and richness to the flavor profile, balanced with a subtle sweetness.
It has twin aromas of orangey citrus and Muscat grape sweetness. On the tongue there is a momentary impression of sweetness before the lively sharp finish of just-pressed sake cleanses the palate.
