Distilled at Ardbeg distillery, it is the Feis Ile 2019 release which were at the festival on Ardbeg day. It has been matured for an undisclosed length of time and is the first rum finished whisky Ardbeg have done which has been bottled at 46% abv.
This expression celebrates Mickey Heads' 13 years of leadership. Aged entirely in ex-rye casks (a first for the distillery!) and bottled at 103.6 proof, the whisky is intensely fruity and pleasantly spicy.
This western Highland malt is said to have been originally founded in 1794. Oban is a true classic with an amber color, an assertive, round nose, and a rich, slightly viscous body. On the palate, it is dry with malty and fruity undertones. 2020 SIP Awards
