Sze Chuan Dah Poo Chiew literally means Ten Fully Nourishing Wines. Blood is the essence of life and must be carefully nurtured. Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan Huatuo Winery meticulously selects licorice, Codonopsis, Angelica, cinnamon, astragalus, and other 10 Chinese medicinal herbs to make "Ten Fully Nourishing Soup." The wine base is made from aged glutinous rice wine. The wine has a mellow body and a pleasant aroma, which can relieve fatigue and boost energy. When used in soup, it adds a rich and sweet flavor to the broth.
Various medicinal herbs are soaked in the wine, allowing time for the effective ingredients in the wine and herbs to fully blend. The wine enhances the potency of the herbs, while the herbs complement the effects of the wine.

Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan Huatuo Winery Co., Ltd. was established in 1936 and was renamed Shanghai Huaguang Brewery, a local state-owned enterprise, in 1953. In 1957, based on the formula of "Ten Fully Nourishing Soup" in Volume V of the Song Dynasty's "Taiping Huimin Heji Fang," Shanghai Huaguang Brewery continuously improved and produced Ten Fully Nourishing Wine, which was the earliest "Huatuo Brand'' medicinal wine. The main medicinal ingredients include Codonopsis, Atractylodes, Angelica, Astragalus, Solomon's seal, yellow wine, Hovenia dulcis, Rehmannia glutinosa, white peony, Poria cocos, cinnamon, Ligusticum chuanxiong, licorice, malt, edible alcohol, and refined sugar. Huatuo wine is mild and has the function of anti-fatigue, making it suitable for people prone to fatigue.

2 oz Ten Fully Nourishing Wine, 1 oz orange juice, 0.5 oz honey syrup, Splash of ginger ale, Orange slice for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Ten Fully Nourishing Wine, orange juice, and honey syrup to the shaker. Shake well until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of ginger ale. Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy!
