Product details
Tensei "Infinite Summer" Tokubetsu Honjozo is a vibrant expression of Kanagawa Prefecture's coastal allure and surfing culture. Crafted by Kumazawa Brewing Company, established in 1872, this sake embodies over a century of brewing mastery. The brewery's innovative spirit extends beyond sake production, encompassing ventures like a beer brewery, Japanese and Italian restaurants, a bakery, and an art gallery, all reflecting a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
This Tokubetsu Honjozo is meticulously brewed using Gohyakumangoku rice polished to 60%, resulting in a clean, bright profile with a salted melon finish. On the palate, it offers notes of green melon, salt, brown rice, and green apple, capturing the essence of an endless summer. Its balanced umami and dry finish make it an ideal companion for dishes like whitefish ceviche with pineapple, pomegranate guacamole, citrus and beet salad, grilled vegetables with a dash of lemon, tacos, chips and guacamole, fresh spring salads, feta and watermelon summer salads, prosciutto-wrapped melon, or chili-lime BBQ shrimp skewers. Served chilled, it delivers a refreshing experience reminiscent of Kanagawa's coastal breeze.
