Product details
Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass teamed up with Melodie Leung of Zaha Hadid Architects to create this extraordinary limited edition single malt. The whisky is matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in Graham’s Tawny Port pipes and 30-year-old Apostoles Sherry casks, with a subtle infusion of rare peated Dalmore. Each bottle is presented in a contemporary case inspired by The Luminary No.2 Rare sculpture, featuring a vortex-like design rich in texture and warm copper tones, echoing the whisky stills.
This whisky offers a layered sensory experience, starting with an aroma of Manuka honey, crème brûlée, and antique leather, enhanced by delicate tropical notes of pomegranate, guava, and cherry blossom. On the palate, it unfolds with flavors of ripe figs, Seville oranges, forest fruits, and passion fruit, complemented by lightly roasted Colombian coffee, fermented black limes, and brioche. The finish is long and complex, with fresh roasted chestnuts, sweet wood spices, dark cacao, and Alphonso mangoes, all tied together with a delicate hint of herbal wood smoke.
