Matured in Bourbon & Sherry Oak Casks. This range has been around for a few years now and seems to have weathered the storm it caused amongst the faithful when it was initially released. Nose: Complex, with hints of fruit and heather honey.
Palate: Soft, with a maltiness, balanced with oak and fruit.
Finish: Lingering with hints of oak and fruit.
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
