Nicolas Maillart Rosé Grand Cru is a very technical cuvée that begins in the vineyard with the selection of plots of old Pinot Noir from the best terroirs of Bouzy. The estate uses the "saignee" method.
The color is medium salmon with copper highlights. The bouquet displays aromas of ripe strawberry and bright red raspberry, with notes of light spice hinting at Hawaiian pink ginger, Mandarin orange, and honey with a touch of earthiness.
A lovely, creamy rosé Champagne, seamlessly layering vivid acidity with the range of dried fig, poached apricot and Mandarin orange peel fruit notes, offering exotic accents of grilled nut, curry spice and dogwood blossom that expand and echo on the finis
The color is gold, adorned with subtle, bright reflections. Powerful and complex, the nose combines aromas of yellow fruits (Mirabelle plum), juicy and ripe fruits (nectarine), citrus zest (candied orange) and finely grilled nuts (hazelnut).
